- Scope of Work: The Carpenter, Master Carpenter Hassan El-Sayed Workshop, shall perform all carpentry services and supply all materials as specified in this Purchase Order for the residential project located at 88 Marina Road, East Alexandria, Egypt Alexandria. All work shall comply with the Egyptian Building Code (Law No. 119 of 2008) and local Alexandria municipality regulations.
- Timeline: The Carpenter shall commence work within five (5) business days of receiving this Purchase Order and shall complete all items within ninety (90) calendar days from the start date. A detailed weekly progress schedule shall be submitted to the project manager in Egypt Alexandria every Friday.
- Quality Standards: All woodwork shall be of premium grade. The Carpenter guarantees that all timber used is free from warping, insect damage, and structural defects. All finishes shall be tested for resistance to the high humidity and salt-air exposure characteristic of the Egypt Alexandria coastal environment.
- Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in three installments: 30% upon signing and receipt of this Purchase Order, 40% upon completion of 60% of the work as verified by the site supervisor, and the remaining 30% upon final inspection and acceptance. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the Carpenter's registered account at National Bank of Egypt, Alexandria Branch.
- Warranty: The Carpenter provides a comprehensive warranty of twenty-four (24) months on all structural carpentry work and twelve (12) months on all finishing and hardware. Any defects arising from workmanship or material failure within the warranty period shall be repaired at no additional cost to the purchaser.
- Site Access and Safety: The Carpenter and all associated workers shall comply with all safety protocols on the construction site in Egypt Alexandria. The Carpenter is responsible for providing personal protective equipment (PPE) for all personnel and for maintaining a clean, organized work area.
- Change Orders: Any modifications to the scope of work outlined in this Purchase Order must be agreed upon in writing by both parties. The Carpenter shall submit a revised quotation for any additional work before commencing it.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through negotiation, and if unresolved, shall be submitted to the competent courts in Egypt Alexandria, under the jurisdiction of the Egyptian Civil Code.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or supply chain disruptions affecting the Carpenter's ability to source materials in Egypt Alexandria.
