- 1. Scope of Work: This Purchase Order authorises the named Carpenter to perform all carpentry, joinery, and timber-related services as itemised above. The Carpenter shall adhere to all specifications, drawings, and quality standards agreed upon in the preliminary contract dated 28 May 2025.
- 2. Delivery and Site Access: All completed work and materials shall be delivered to the project site located at 7 Ridge Road, Osu, Ghana Accra. The Carpenter is responsible for safe transport of all fabricated items within the Ghana Accra metropolitan area. Site access hours are Monday to Saturday, 07:00 to 18:00 GMT.
- 3. Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in three instalments: 30% upon acceptance of this Purchase Order, 40% upon completion of 60% of the total work, and the remaining 30% upon final inspection and sign-off. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the Carpenter's registered account in Ghana.
- 4. Quality Assurance: The Carpenter guarantees that all woodwork shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of final acceptance. Any defects identified within this warranty period shall be rectified by the Carpenter at no additional cost.
- 5. Compliance: The Carpenter shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Ghana, including the Ghana Building and Construction Industry Act, 2016 (Act 925), and all local by-laws of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly.
- 6. Insurance: The Carpenter shall maintain adequate public liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all personnel engaged on this Purchase Order throughout the duration of the project in Ghana Accra.
- 7. Cancellation: Either party may cancel this Purchase Order with fourteen (14) days' written notice. In the event of cancellation by the buyer, the Carpenter shall be compensated for all materials procured and work completed up to the date of cancellation.
- 8. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Ghana Accra in accordance with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act, 2010 (Act 798) of Ghana.
