3. Scope of Work – Carpenter ServicesThis Purchase Order is issued by Shree Vardhman Interiors & Construction Pvt. Ltd. to engage the above-named Carpenter, Master Suresh Patil & Associates, for the execution of comprehensive woodwork, furniture fabrication, and structural carpentry services at the residential project site located in India Mumbai. The Carpenter shall provide all skilled labour, tools, and finishing materials as specified below. The Carpenter is expected to adhere to the quality standards prescribed by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the local building by-laws of the India Mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).

- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Buyer and the Carpenter upon signature by both parties. All work shall be executed at the project site in India Mumbai as per the approved architectural drawings and specifications.
- The Carpenter shall commence work within 5 working days of receiving this Purchase Order and shall complete all deliverables within 45 working days from the commencement date, subject to weather and site-access conditions in India Mumbai.
- All wood materials used by the Carpenter shall be FSC-certified or sourced from legally managed forests in compliance with the Indian Forest Act, 1927, and the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972. The Carpenter shall provide mill certificates for all timber used.
- Payment shall be made in three milestones: 30% advance upon signing this Purchase Order, 40% upon completion of 60% of the woodwork as certified by the Buyer's site engineer, and 30% upon final inspection, snag-list clearance, and handover at the India Mumbai project site.
- The Carpenter shall bear full responsibility for the safety of all workers on site in accordance with the Factories Act, 1948, and the Building and Other Construction Workers Act, 1996, as applicable in India Mumbai.
- A warranty period of 24 months shall apply to all carpentry work. Any defects in workmanship, joint failure, or material degradation during this period shall be rectified by the Carpenter at no additional cost within 15 working days of written notice.
- The Carpenter shall maintain adequate insurance coverage, including workmen's compensation and third-party liability, for the duration of the project in India Mumbai.
- Any variation or change order to the scope of this Purchase Order must be documented in writing and signed by both parties before execution. Verbal instructions shall not be valid.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in India Mumbai in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, and the jurisdiction of the courts in India Mumbai shall be exclusive.
- The Carpenter shall comply with all environmental regulations of the India Mumbai Municipal Corporation, including proper disposal of wood offcuts, sawdust, and chemical waste generated during the project.
