TERMS AND CONDITIONS- Scope of Work: This Purchase Order is issued to Okafor Master Carpenter & Timber Supply Co. for the supply of all carpentry materials, professional tools, and skilled carpenter labour required for the expansion of the Adeniyi & Sons Carpenter Workshop located at 22 Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase I, Lagos, Nigeria. The carpenter team shall be responsible for structural timber framing, custom furniture fabrication, and full finishing of the workshop premises.
- Delivery: All materials and carpenter tools must be delivered to the designated site in Lagos, Nigeria, no later than 28 June 2025. The vendor shall bear all transportation costs within the Lagos metropolis. Any delay beyond the stipulated date shall attract a penalty of 1.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay.
- Quality Standards: All timber supplied must be properly seasoned, free from termites and fungal decay, and compliant with Nigerian Standards Organisation (SON) specifications for construction-grade wood. The carpenter workmanship must meet the quality benchmarks agreed upon in the attached technical specification sheet.
- Payment: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of successful delivery and acceptance of all items listed in this Purchase Order. Payment shall be via bank transfer to the GTBank account specified above. A valid tax invoice must accompany the delivery note.
- Warranty: The carpenter shall provide a minimum twelve (12) month warranty on all custom-fabricated furniture and structural carpentry work. Any defects arising from poor workmanship or substandard materials within this period shall be rectified at no additional cost to the buyer.
- Compliance: The vendor confirms that all operations are conducted in full compliance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including but not limited to the Lagos State Building Control and Planning Law, and all applicable tax obligations under the Nigeria Tax Act 2024.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Cap A18, LFN 2004). The governing law shall be the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Validity: This Purchase Order is valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Acceptance must be confirmed in writing by the vendor within five (5) business days.
