1. This Purchase Order is issued by Harare Commercial Developments (Pvt) Ltd for the engagement of Musasa Custom Carpentry & Timber Works, a registered Carpenter and timber supplier operating in Harare, Zimbabwe. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Zimbabwe Building Regulations and the standards set by the Zimbabwe National Building Code.
2. The Carpenter shall ensure that all timber materials used are sourced from legally harvested, FSC-certified or Zimbabwe Forestry Commission-approved suppliers. Proof of lawful timber origin must accompany each delivery to the Harare site.
3. Payment shall be made in United States Dollars (USD) via bank transfer to the Carpenter's designated account at Stanbic Bank, Harare branch, within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice. The 30% advance payment is due upon acceptance of this Purchase Order.
4. All carpentry work must be completed and delivered to the specified Harare locations no later than 15 August 2025. The Carpenter shall provide a weekly progress report to the Buyer's project manager every Friday.
5. The Carpenter warrants that all fabricated items and installations shall be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of final acceptance at the Harare site.
6. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Harare in accordance with the Arbitration Act [Chapter 7:15] of Zimbabwe.
7. The Carpenter shall maintain adequate public liability insurance (minimum USD 500,000) for the duration of the project and shall provide a certificate of insurance to the Buyer prior to commencing work at any Harare site.
8. All materials and finished carpentry goods remain the property of the Buyer until full payment has been received. The Carpenter shall not lien or retain any items on the Harare premises.
