This Purchase Order is issued by Himalayan Culinary Services Pvt. The Chef engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties within the premises located in Nepal Kathmandu:
- Design and implement a seasonal menu that reflects authentic Nepali culinary traditions while incorporating international gastronomic techniques.
- Manage and supervise a kitchen team of no fewer than eight (8) sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen assistants stationed in Nepal Kathmandu.
- Ensure full compliance with the Nepal Food Authority (NFA) regulations, local Kathmandu Metropolitan City health codes, and all applicable food safety standards.
- Conduct weekly inventory audits and coordinate with the procurement department to maintain optimal stock levels of fresh produce, spices, and specialty ingredients sourced locally in Nepal Kathmandu.
- Develop and execute a training curriculum for junior kitchen staff to elevate the overall culinary standard of the establishment.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction during all dining operations.
- Report monthly performance metrics, cost-of-goods-sold analyses, and menu innovation proposals to the Buyer's General Manager.
- Validity: This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issue. Failure to confirm acceptance within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in monthly installments via bank transfer to the Supplier's designated account. A 10% advance payment is due upon signed acceptance of this Purchase Order. The remaining balance shall be disbursed in equal monthly tranches over the twelve-month contract period.
- Delivery / Commencement: The Chef shall report for duty at the designated kitchen facility in Nepal Kathmandu no later than 1 August 2025. The Supplier is responsible for all logistics, visa processing (if applicable), and initial accommodation arrangements in Nepal Kathmandu.
- Quality Assurance: The Chef must hold a minimum of a Diploma in Culinary Arts from a recognized institution and possess at least five (5) years of professional kitchen experience. The Supplier warrants that the Chef's credentials will be verified prior to deployment.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of material breach by the Chef, the Buyer reserves the right to terminate immediately and request a replacement Chef within twenty-one (21) days at no additional cost.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Nepal. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Kathmandu, Nepal, in accordance with the Nepal Arbitration Act.
- Tax and Duties: All applicable taxes, including Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate in Nepal, shall be borne as per the tax clauses specified in the master service agreement. The Supplier shall provide a valid tax invoice for each payment tranche.
- Confidentiality: The Chef shall be bound by a non-disclosure agreement covering all proprietary recipes, supplier lists, and operational strategies of the Buyer's establishment in Nepal Kathmandu.
