All Chef personnel engaged under this Purchase Order must meet the following professional standards:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional kitchen experience, with at least two (2) years in a senior or supervisory Chef role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Nigerian cuisine, including but not limited to Jollof rice, Egusi soup, Pounded Yam, Suya preparations, and traditional Lagos seafood dishes.
  • Working knowledge of international culinary techniques (French, Italian, and Continental) to accommodate the diverse clientele in Nigeria Lagos.
  • Valid food handler's certificate issued by the Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Nigeria Lagos Food Safety Authority.
  • Current medical fitness certificate confirming the Chef is free from communicable diseases.
  • Ability to manage kitchen operations for events ranging from 50 to 2,000 guests within the Nigeria Lagos metropolitan area.
  • Proficiency in cost control, inventory management, and waste reduction practices aligned with the buyer's operational budget.

The Supplier shall ensure that all Chef personnel are deployed and fully operational at the Buyer's premises located at 12 Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Nigeria Lagos, no later than 1 July 2025. The engagement period under this Purchase Order shall run from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2026, subject to renewal by mutual written agreement.

Onboarding, orientation, and initial kitchen setup shall be completed within the first seven (7) calendar days of commencement. The Lead Chef shall conduct a full audit of existing kitchen equipment, ingredient storage, and hygiene protocols during this period.

Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made in accordance with the following schedule:

  • Advance Payment (30%): NGN 2,802,000 – Payable within five (5) business days of the signing of this Purchase Order, via bank transfer to the Supplier's designated account.
  • Mid-Term Payment (40%): NGN 3,736,000 – Payable upon successful completion of the six-month service period (by 31 December 2025), subject to satisfactory performance review.
  • Final Payment (30%): NGN 2,802,000 – Payable upon completion of the full twelve-month engagement period (by 30 June 2026), following final performance evaluation and handover.

All payments shall be made in Nigerian Naira (NGN) to the following account: MasterChef Culinary Services Nigeria, Account No. 0123456789, Zenith Bank Plc, Ikeja Branch, Nigeria Lagos. The Buyer reserves the right to withhold payment in the event of material breach of this Purchase Order by the Supplier.

  1. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with specific reference to the Lagos State Employment and Labour regulations applicable in Nigeria Lagos.
  2. The Supplier warrants that all Chef personnel engaged under this Purchase Order are legally authorized to work in Nigeria and hold valid immigration or residency documentation where applicable.
  3. The Supplier shall maintain comprehensive professional indemnity and public liability insurance covering all Chef staff for the duration of the engagement, with a minimum coverage of NGN 50,000,000.
  4. Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall first be subject to mediation in Nigeria Lagos. If mediation fails within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the rules of the Lagos Court of Arbitration.
  5. The Buyer may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice in the event of persistent failure by the Chef personnel to meet the quality and performance standards outlined herein.
  6. All intellectual property, including proprietary recipes, menu designs, and culinary techniques developed specifically for the Buyer during the term of this Purchase Order, shall remain the exclusive property of Lagos Hospitality & Events Ltd.
  7. The Supplier shall comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations enforced by the Nigeria Lagos municipal authorities and the Federal Ministry of Health.
Important Note: This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the parties upon execution. No modification, amendment, or waiver of any provision herein shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by both parties. All Chef personnel must present valid identification and professional credentials at the time of onboarding in Nigeria Lagos.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the procurement of Chef services in Nigeria Lagos.
