This Purchase Order is issued by SIDEC Process Engineering Division, Pakistan Karachi, to procure the professional services of a qualified Chemical Engineer for a period of twelve (12) months. The Chemical Engineer shall be responsible for overseeing process optimization, safety compliance, and technical supervision of the refinery upgradation project located at our Korangi industrial facility in Pakistan Karachi. The engagement is governed by the terms and conditions set forth in this Purchase Order and the applicable labour and professional regulations of the Province of Sindh, Pakistan.

- Commencement: The Chemical Engineer shall report for duty at the SIDEC facility in Korangi, Pakistan Karachi, no later than 01 July 2025. Failure to commence within five (5) working days of the required date shall entitle the Buyer to cancel this Purchase Order without penalty.
- Qualifications: The Chemical Engineer must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from a HEC-recognized university in Pakistan or an equivalent internationally accredited institution. A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license issued by the Engineering Council of Pakistan is mandatory.
- Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in monthly installments via bank transfer to the vendor's designated account in Pakistan Karachi. Invoices must be submitted by the 10th of the following month. The Purchase Order payment terms are Net 30 days from the date of invoice receipt.
- Compliance: The Chemical Engineer shall adhere to all applicable laws and regulations of the Government of Sindh, the Pakistan Karachi Municipal Corporation, and the Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency. All safety protocols under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Pakistan) shall be strictly observed.
- Confidentiality: All process data, proprietary formulas, and operational records accessed by the Chemical Engineer at the Pakistan Karachi facility are classified as confidential. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) must be executed prior to the commencement of services.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the vendor shall be compensated for services rendered up to the termination date, less applicable withholding tax as per Pakistan federal tax law.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Karachi in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 of Pakistan. The seat of arbitration shall be the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, specifically the Sindh Contract Act and applicable commercial regulations of Pakistan Karachi.
