- The Chemical Engineer must hold a minimum of a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university recognized by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in Turkey or an equivalent international institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in petrochemical, refinery, or process plant design is required, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead Chemical Engineer capacity.
- Professional registration with the Chamber of Chemical Engineers of Turkey (TMMOB Kimya Mühendisleri Odası) is mandatory for all design sign-off activities performed in Turkey Istanbul.
- Demonstrated proficiency in process simulation software (Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or equivalent) and familiarity with Turkish industrial safety regulations (İş Sağlığı ve Güvenliği Kanunu No. 6331).
- Fluency in Turkish is required for all regulatory submissions and on-site coordination; working proficiency in English is mandatory for technical documentation.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved by the Istanbul Arbitration Institute (ISTAC) in Istanbul, Turkey.
- The Chemical Engineer shall be subject to the site safety protocols of Anadolu Petrochemical Industries A.Ş. and must complete the mandatory occupational health and safety (İSG) induction before commencing work at the Tuzla facility in Turkey Istanbul.
- Payment shall be made in monthly installments corresponding to the verified progress of the Chemical Engineer's deliverables. Invoices must be submitted by the 5th of each month and are payable within 30 days of receipt.
- All intellectual property, process designs, simulation files, and safety reports produced by the Chemical Engineer under this Purchase Order shall become the exclusive property of Anadolu Petrochemical Industries A.Ş. upon full payment.
- The supplier shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of USD 1,000,000, valid throughout the contract term in Turkey Istanbul.
- Early termination may be invoked by either party with 60 days' written notice. In such an event, the Chemical Engineer shall be compensated for all verifiable work completed up to the termination date.
- All work performed under this Purchase Order must comply with the environmental regulations enforced by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change of Turkey.
