This Purchase Order is issued to procure the professional services of a qualified Computer Engineer to be deployed at the buyer’s primary facility located in Australia Melbourne. The Computer Engineer shall be responsible for the design, implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of the organisation’s enterprise computing infrastructure, including but not limited to server architectures, network systems, data centre operations, and cybersecurity frameworks. The Computer Engineer must hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Systems) or equivalent qualification recognised by Engineers Australia and possess a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive experience in enterprise IT infrastructure within the Australia Melbourne metropolitan region or equivalent international markets.

The Computer Engineer engagement under this Purchase Order shall include the following deliverables:

Payment for the Computer Engineer services outlined in this Purchase Order shall be made in monthly instalments, invoiced on the last business day of each calendar month. Payment is due within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid tax invoice. All payments shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the supplier’s nominated bank account in Australia Melbourne. The total Purchase Order value of AUD $432,850.00 (inclusive of GST) shall be disbursed in accordance with the milestone schedule agreed upon in the attached Statement of Work.

This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia. All disputes arising from this Purchase Order relating to the Computer Engineer engagement in Australia Melbourne shall be resolved through the Victorian Commercial and Consumer Panel or the Supreme Court of Victoria.
The Computer Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order must comply with all applicable Australian Privacy Act 1988 obligations, the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) guidelines, and any relevant Australian Information Security Manual (ISM) requirements while operating within the Australia Melbourne premises.
The supplier warrants that the Computer Engineer assigned to this Purchase Order shall be fully qualified, insured, and authorised to perform professional engineering services in Australia Melbourne. A valid Engineers Australia membership and professional indemnity insurance (minimum AUD $10,000,000) must be maintained for the duration of the engagement.
The Computer Engineer shall adhere to all site safety, security, and access control protocols at the buyer’s Australia Melbourne facilities. A valid White Card and site induction must be completed prior to commencing work.
This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with thirty (30) days’ written notice. In the event of termination, the supplier shall be compensated for all Computer Engineer services rendered up to the termination date, less any uncompleted deliverables.
All intellectual property, documentation, and work product created by the Computer Engineer in the course of fulfilling this Purchase Order shall become the sole property of the buyer upon full payment.
The supplier shall maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, system architectures, and business data encountered during the Computer Engineer engagement in Australia Melbourne, in accordance with the Non-Disclosure Agreement executed concurrently with this Purchase Order.
Any variations to the scope of the Computer Engineer services must be approved in writing by the buyer’s Procurement Director prior to implementation. Verbal authorisations do not constitute a valid variation to this Purchase Order.
This Purchase Order does not create a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the parties. The Computer Engineer is engaged as an independent contractor through the supplier entity.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept the terms, conditions, scope of work, and financial obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the Computer Engineer services to be delivered in Australia Melbourne. This Purchase Order becomes effective upon execution by both authorised representatives.
