(Two Million Six Hundred Thirty Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Taka Only) 4. Scope of Work for the Computer Engineer
The Computer Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall be responsible for the following duties while stationed in Bangladesh Dhaka:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level software applications and database systems for the organization.
- Oversee the IT infrastructure, including server management, network security, and cloud migration projects based in Bangladesh Dhaka.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and IT staff within the Bangladesh Dhaka office.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance optimization, and disaster recovery planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Bangladesh's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act and relevant data protection regulations.
- Prepare monthly technical reports and present progress updates to senior management at the Bangladesh Dhaka headquarters.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware procurement, software licensing, and third-party IT services.
- Payment Terms: The total Purchase Order value shall be disbursed in monthly installments within fifteen (15) working days of the end of each calendar month. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by the Computer Engineer.
- Commencement: The engagement of the Computer Engineer shall commence on 1 July 2025, subject to successful completion of background verification and medical clearance.
- Working Hours: The Computer Engineer shall work a standard schedule of 48 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM) at the Bangladesh Dhaka office, with flexibility for project deadlines.
- Confidentiality: The Computer Engineer shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, source code, client data, and business strategies of Dhaka Tech Solutions Ltd. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order by a period of two (2) years.
- Intellectual Property: All work product, code, designs, and documentation created by the Computer Engineer during the term of this Purchase Order shall be the exclusive property of Dhaka Tech Solutions Ltd.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of material breach, termination may be effected with seven (7) days' notice.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Bangladesh Dhaka in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 2001.
- Tax Compliance: The Computer Engineer shall be responsible for personal income tax filings as mandated by the National Board of Revenue (NBR), Bangladesh. The company shall deduct applicable TDS as per prevailing regulations.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government orders, or pandemics affecting Bangladesh Dhaka.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Computer Engineer in Bangladesh Dhaka.
