This Purchase Order formally authorises the engagement of a qualified Curriculum Developer to design, develop, and deliver comprehensive educational curriculum frameworks for the Queensland Education & Training Authority. The Curriculum Developer shall operate primarily from the Australia Brisbane metropolitan region and shall ensure all deliverables align with the Australian Curriculum: Assessment and Reporting Framework (ACARA) as well as the Queensland K-12 Education Curriculum standards.
The scope of work for this Curriculum Developer engagement includes, but is not limited to: the design of new subject-specific learning modules for Years 7 through 12; the revision of existing curriculum units to reflect current pedagogical research; the development of integrated assessment rubrics; the creation of teacher resource packs; and the facilitation of professional development workshops for educators across the Australia Brisbane school district network.

5.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Queensland and the Commonwealth of Australia. All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in accordance with the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) procedures.
5.2 The Curriculum Developer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of AUD 5,000,000 throughout the duration of this engagement. A certificate of insurance shall be provided to the Purchaser prior to the commencement of work in Australia Brisbane.
5.3 Payment terms: 30% upon execution of this Purchase Order, 40% upon completion of Milestone M2, and 30% upon final acceptance of all deliverables. Invoices shall be submitted to the Queensland Education & Training Authority, Australia Brisbane office, and payment shall be processed within 30 business days of receipt of a valid tax invoice.
5.4 The Curriculum Developer warrants that all curriculum materials produced shall be original, free from intellectual property infringement, and compliant with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
5.5 The Purchaser reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days written notice if the Curriculum Developer fails to meet agreed milestones or breaches any term herein. In such an event, payment shall be made only for services satisfactorily rendered up to the date of termination.
5.6 All work performed under this Purchase Order shall be conducted in accordance with the Australian Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations applicable in Australia Brisbane. The Curriculum Developer shall comply with all site-specific safety requirements at any school or training facility visited.
5.7 The Curriculum Developer shall not subcontract any portion of the work described in this Purchase Order without prior written consent from the Purchaser. Any approved subcontractor must be based in or regularly operating within the Australia Brisbane region.
5.8 Confidentiality: All student data, internal educational records, and proprietary curriculum materials accessed during this engagement are classified as confidential. The Curriculum Developer shall not disclose such information to any third party without express written authorisation from the Purchaser.
6. ACCEPTANCE AND AUTHORITYBy signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Curriculum Developer in Australia Brisbane. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement upon countersignature by both authorised representatives.
