This Purchase Order formally authorizes the engagement of the above-named Curriculum Developer to design, develop, and deliver a comprehensive educational curriculum framework for the Brussels Educational Innovation Consortium. All deliverables shall be produced in accordance with the educational standards and regulatory requirements applicable in Belgium Brussels, including compliance with the Brussels-Capital Region's Directorate-General for Education and Training directives. The Curriculum Developer shall ensure that all instructional materials are available in Dutch, French, and English to serve the trilingual population of Belgium Brussels.

Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by the Curriculum Developer in accordance with Belgian commercial law. The schedule is as follows:
30% upon acceptance of this Purchase Order and commencement of work.
40% upon delivery and approval of the curriculum framework and teaching modules.
30% upon completion of teacher training workshops and final acceptance of all deliverables.
Invoices are payable within 30 calendar days of receipt. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate prescribed by the Belgian Code of Economic Law. All transactions are governed by the laws of Belgium, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of Belgium Brussels.
All deliverables produced by the Curriculum Developer must be submitted in both digital (PDF, editable Word, and interactive e-learning formats) and printed form. The final curriculum package must be reviewed and approved by the BEIC Academic Board, which convenes in Belgium Brussels. Acceptance is deemed complete upon written sign-off by the Director of Academic Programs. The Curriculum Developer shall provide a minimum of two (2) revision cycles at no additional cost to address feedback received during the review process in Belgium Brussels.
7. TERMS AND CONDITIONS- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Belgium. Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved by the competent courts of Belgium Brussels.
- The Curriculum Developer warrants that all work products are original, free of intellectual property infringement, and compliant with Belgian copyright legislation (Code de droit d'auteur et des droits voisins).
- Confidentiality: All data, student information, and institutional materials accessed during this engagement in Belgium Brussels shall be treated as strictly confidential and protected under the Belgian Privacy Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- The Curriculum Developer shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of EUR 1,000,000, valid throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Curriculum Developer shall be compensated for work completed and documented up to the termination date.
- All on-site work, meetings, and training sessions shall take place at the BEIC headquarters in Belgium Brussels or at such other locations in Belgium Brussels as mutually agreed in writing.
- This Purchase Order does not create an employment relationship. The Curriculum Developer is engaged as an independent contractor under Belgian self-employment (zelfstandige) regulations.
