This Purchase Order is issued to formally engage a qualified Curriculum Developer to design, review, and implement updated educational curricula for the national primary and secondary education framework. The Curriculum Developer shall operate out of the designated office in Zimbabwe Harare and shall report directly to the Director of Curriculum Development. - This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Buyer and the Seller upon signature by both parties. All terms herein shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
- The Curriculum Developer shall commence work no later than 1 August 2025 and shall report to the designated office in Zimbabwe Harare on a full-time basis unless otherwise specified in the line items above.
- All deliverables produced by the Curriculum Developer shall be subject to review and approval by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education before final acceptance. The Buyer reserves the right to request revisions at no additional cost within the project timeline.
- Payment shall be made in tranches: 30% upon contract signing, 40% upon completion of curriculum design and review, and 30% upon final delivery and acceptance of all materials in Zimbabwe Harare.
- The Curriculum Developer shall comply with all data protection regulations of Zimbabwe, including the Data Protection Act [Chapter 11:12], when handling student data or educational records.
- Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Zimbabwe Harare before proceeding to the High Court of Zimbabwe.
- The Seller warrants that the Curriculum Developer engaged under this order holds a minimum of a Master's degree in Curriculum Studies, Education, or a related field, and possesses at least five (5) years of relevant experience in curriculum design within the Southern African context.
- All intellectual property rights in the final curriculum materials shall vest in the Republic of Zimbabwe upon full payment. The Curriculum Developer retains the right to be credited as the author in all published materials.
- This Purchase Order may be amended only by written agreement signed by both parties. Verbal modifications shall be null and void.
- The Seller shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than USD 200,000 for the duration of the engagement in Zimbabwe Harare.
