1. Purpose and Scope of This Purchase Order

3. Terms and Conditions of This Purchase Order

3.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Bangladesh Customs Department, Dhaka Zone, and the named supplier. All goods and services must comply with the specifications outlined in Section 2 above.

3.2 The supplier shall deliver all items to the designated Customs Officer workstation at the Dhaka Customs House, Bangladesh Dhaka, no later than the Required Delivery Date stated above. Late delivery shall attract a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay, up to a maximum of 10%.

3.3 All equipment procured under this Purchase Order shall carry a minimum warranty period of 24 months from the date of acceptance by the Customs Officer or the designated receiving authority in Bangladesh Dhaka.

3.4 Payment shall be processed through the Government of Bangladesh Treasury system. The supplier must submit a tax invoice along with a delivery challan signed by the receiving Customs Officer or the Joint Commissioner of Customs, Dhaka Zone, Bangladesh Dhaka.

3.5 The supplier warrants that all goods are new, unused, and free from defects. Any item found defective within the warranty period shall be replaced at no additional cost to the Bangladesh Customs Department.

3.6 This Purchase Order is subject to the Bangladesh Public Procurement Act 2023 and the Government Procurement Rules 2008. Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangladesh Dhaka.

3.7 The supplier shall maintain confidentiality regarding all operational details of the Customs Officer's duties and shall not disclose any information pertaining to customs procedures, revenue data, or security protocols observed in Bangladesh Dhaka.

3.8 The Customs Officer assigned to the Dhaka Zone reserves the right to inspect and test all delivered goods prior to acceptance. Acceptance shall be communicated in writing via the official Purchase Order acknowledgment form.
