This Purchase Order is issued by the undersigned Customs Officer, Mr. Ahmed Hassan El-Sayed, in his official capacity at the Alexandria Port Customs Office, Egypt Alexandria, for the procurement of specialized inspection and documentation equipment required for the daily operations of the Import/Export Clearance Division. 3.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Egyptian Customs Law No. 207 of 2020, as amended. All transactions related to this Purchase Order shall be conducted in accordance with the regulations of the General Authority of Customs, Egypt Alexandria branch.
3.2 The Customs Officer, Mr. Ahmed Hassan El-Sayed, retains the right to inspect, test, and reject any item delivered under this Purchase Order within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt at the Alexandria Port facility. Rejected items must be replaced at the supplier's sole expense within ten (10) business days.
3.3 The supplier shall provide full technical documentation, user manuals in Arabic and English, and all necessary import permits required for the equipment to be legally operated within Egypt Alexandria customs jurisdiction.
3.4 All equipment must comply with Egyptian Standards and Organization (EGYPTMO) specifications and carry valid CE marking. The Customs Officer reserves the right to request additional conformity certificates prior to acceptance of delivery.
3.5 Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of the Customs Officer's written acceptance of all goods and services. Payment will be processed via bank transfer to the supplier's registered account in Egypt. No cash payments are permitted under this Purchase Order.
3.6 The supplier warrants that all goods are free from liens, encumbrances, and third-party claims. Any intellectual property infringement arising from the supplied equipment shall be the sole responsibility of the supplier.
3.7 Force majeure events, including but not limited to port strikes, canal closures, or government-mandated shutdowns affecting Egypt Alexandria operations, shall extend the delivery deadline proportionally.
4. DELIVERY AND LOGISTICS4.1 Delivery Location: Alexandria Port, Container Terminal, Pier 7, Customs Office Building, Room 214, Egypt Alexandria, 21542, Egypt.
4.2 Delivery Deadline: All items must be delivered, installed, and calibrated no later than 05 July 2025. The Customs Officer must be present for the final acceptance inspection.
4.3 The supplier is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and customs clearance of the equipment within Egypt. The Customs Officer will facilitate the necessary internal port access permits for the delivery vehicle.
4.4 Risk of loss or damage transfers to the Customs Officer only upon written sign-off of the delivery receipt at the Alexandria Port facility.
5. AUTHORIZATION AND SIGNATURESThis Purchase Order is authorized and issued by the undersigned Customs Officer in his official capacity at the Alexandria Port Customs Office, Egypt Alexandria. The supplier's acceptance of this Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement to fulfill all obligations herein.
