This Purchase Order is issued by Atlas Digital Solutions SARL to formally procure the professional services of a qualified Data Scientist to be deployed at the company's primary operational headquarters located in Morocco Casablanca. The engagement is structured as a fixed-term professional services contract with a duration of twelve (12) months, commencing on 1 July 2025 and concluding on 30 June 2026, unless otherwise extended by mutual written agreement between both parties.
The Data Scientist shall be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced machine learning models, predictive analytics pipelines, and statistical analysis frameworks to support the strategic decision-making processes of Atlas Digital Solutions. The role will be performed on-site at the Morocco Casablanca office, with the Data Scientist expected to be present at the workplace no fewer than five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 local time.
The scope of work for the Data Scientist includes, but is not limited to: data ingestion and preprocessing from multiple heterogeneous sources; feature engineering and model selection; implementation of supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms; natural language processing for Arabic and French text corpora relevant to the Moroccan market; A/B testing framework design; dashboard development using Power BI and Tableau; and ongoing model monitoring, retraining, and performance optimization. The Data Scientist shall also be expected to mentor junior analysts and contribute to the broader data culture within the Morocco Casablanca team.

Payment shall be made in monthly installments via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Morocco Casablanca. Each invoice must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-CAS-2025-04782) and shall be due within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month in accordance with Moroccan commercial law.
4. TERMS AND CONDITIONS- Governing Law: This Purchase Order and the services described herein shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, with jurisdiction vested in the competent courts of Morocco Casablanca.
- Confidentiality: The Data Scientist shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary data, algorithms, business strategies, and client information encountered during the engagement in Morocco Casablanca. A separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) shall be executed prior to commencement.
- Intellectual Property: All models, code, documentation, and analytical outputs produced by the Data Scientist in the course of this Purchase Order shall be the exclusive property of Atlas Digital Solutions SARL.
- Performance Standards: The Data Scientist shall deliver all agreed-upon milestones within the timelines specified in the project plan. Failure to meet key performance indicators for two consecutive quarters shall constitute grounds for early termination of this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice.
- Compliance: The Data Scientist shall comply with all applicable Moroccan labor regulations, data protection laws (Law 09-08 on personal data protection), and industry standards while performing duties in Morocco Casablanca.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government mandates, or pandemics affecting operations in Morocco Casablanca.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of material breach, the non-breaching party may terminate immediately upon written notice.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the rules of the Casablanca Court of Arbitration in Morocco Casablanca.
