Scope of Work & Data Scientist Responsibilities

This Purchase Order authorizes the procurement of a qualified Data Scientist to be deployed at the offices of Gulf Analytics & Intelligence Solutions LLC in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Data Scientist shall be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced analytical models, conducting exploratory data analysis on enterprise datasets, building and maintaining machine learning pipelines, and providing strategic data-driven recommendations to senior leadership. The Data Scientist must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, with a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in the data science domain. Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic is considered a strong advantage given the operational context in United Arab Emirates Dubai.

Terms and Conditions

1. This Purchase Order is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates, specifically the Federal Commercial Transactions Law and applicable Dubai municipal regulations.
2. The Supplier shall ensure that the Data Scientist meets all eligibility criteria for employment in the United Arab Emirates, including valid passport, medical clearance, and police attestation as required by the Dubai General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).
3. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Supplier's designated corporate account in a UAE-licensed bank within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice referencing this Purchase Order number.
4. The Supplier warrants that the Data Scientist shall not be under any non-compete or intellectual property restriction that would conflict with the obligations outlined in this Purchase Order.
5. All data, models, code, and intellectual property developed by the Data Scientist during the engagement period shall be the sole property of Gulf Analytics & Intelligence Solutions LLC, in compliance with UAE Federal Law No. 38 of 2021 on the Protection of Rights of Owners of Intellectual Property.
6. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Supplier shall refund any pre-paid amounts for the unfulfilled portion of the engagement.
7. Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts or, at the Buyer's discretion, through arbitration administered by the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC).
8. This Purchase Order is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Acceptance must be confirmed in writing by the Supplier within this period.
