This Purchase Order is issued by the International Health & Nutrition Services Organization (IHNSO) to formally engage the above-named Dietitian for the provision of clinical and community nutrition services within the Afghanistan Kabul metropolitan area. The engagement is structured under the organization's Q2 2025 Public Health Nutrition Programme and is subject to the terms outlined in this document.
The Dietitian shall deliver the following scope of services as specified in this Purchase Order:

- Acceptance: This Purchase Order becomes binding upon written acceptance by the Dietitian within ten (10) business days of the date of issue. Failure to respond within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
- Commencement: The Dietitian shall commence all services no later than 1 July 2025 at the designated IHNSO facilities in Afghanistan Kabul.
- Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in three (3) equal instalments: 40% upon commencement, 35% upon completion of the six-month midpoint, and 25% upon final delivery and acceptance of all reports. All payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the account specified in Section 1.
- Compliance: The Dietitian shall adhere to all applicable regulations of the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and shall maintain a valid professional licence throughout the engagement period in Afghanistan Kabul.
- Confidentiality: All patient data, programme information, and organizational records accessed during the course of this Purchase Order shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent from IHNSO management in Afghanistan Kabul.
- Quality Assurance: IHNSO reserves the right to conduct periodic quality reviews of the Dietitian's work. Any deficiencies identified shall be rectified within fourteen (14) days at no additional cost to the organization.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Dietitian shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the date of termination.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to security disruptions, natural disasters, or government-imposed restrictions affecting operations in Afghanistan Kabul.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Any disputes shall be resolved through amicable negotiation, failing which they shall be submitted to the competent courts in Afghanistan Kabul.
- Amendments: No modification to this Purchase Order shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by both parties. All amendments shall reference the original Purchase Order number PO-IHNSO-2025-0347.
The Dietitian is advised that all field activities in Afghanistan Kabul and its surrounding districts require prior coordination with the local district administration. The IHNSO security team in Afghanistan Kabul will provide necessary travel permits and escort arrangements for any site visits outside the central Wazir Akbar Khan compound. The Dietitian is expected to conduct all patient-facing services in both Dari and Pashto to ensure accessibility for the local population of Afghanistan Kabul.
