Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order
- This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within 14 calendar days from the date of issue. Failure to accept within this period will render this Purchase Order null and void.
- All Dietitian services described herein must be delivered in accordance with the South African National Food Safety Authority (SAFDA) guidelines and the South African Department of Health's National Strategic Plan for Nutrition.
- The Dietitian shall maintain strict confidentiality of all employee health and dietary information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), 2013, as applicable in South Africa.
- Payment shall be made within 30 days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the Dietitian's practice, payable to the bank account specified on the invoice. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 10% per annum as per the Late Payment of Interest Act, 2011 (South Africa).
- The Dietitian is required to submit a progress report at the end of each month detailing sessions conducted, employee attendance, and preliminary dietary outcomes for the Johannesburg office.
- Any changes to the scope of Dietitian services, additional sessions, or modifications to the programme must be approved in writing by the Procurement Manager prior to execution. No additional charges will be accepted without a formal amendment to this Purchase Order.
- The Dietitian must carry professional indemnity insurance and provide a certificate of insurance upon request. All services must be rendered in compliance with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) code of conduct.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Johannesburg, South Africa.
- The service period for this Purchase Order commences on 01 August 2025 and concludes on 28 February 2026, unless extended by mutual written agreement between both parties.
- All dietary recommendations and nutrition plans provided by the Dietitian must align with the South African Dietary Guidelines and must not include unverified or unapproved supplements or interventions.
