All printed materials under this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the buyer's premises located at 1 Macquarie Place, Australia Sydney, NSW 2000, no later than 21 June 2025. Digital access credentials for The Economist institutional subscription and archive licence shall be transmitted electronically to the designated IT administrator within three (3) business days of confirmed payment. The supplier acknowledges that all logistics and distribution for this Purchase Order are to be managed within the Australia Sydney metropolitan region, and any delays attributable to local transport disruptions shall be communicated in writing within twenty-four (24) hours of occurrence.
Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the supplier's nominated bank account within thirty (30) calendar days of the date of issue. The total amount of AUD 37,862.00, inclusive of Goods and Services Tax as applicable under Australian tax legislation, is due in a single instalment. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, calculated on the outstanding balance. All payments are to be processed in Australian Dollars (AUD) through a financial institution operating in Australia Sydney.
7.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia Sydney.
7.2 The supplier warrants that all copies of The Economist provided under this Purchase Order are genuine, unaltered, and in full compliance with Australian copyright and intellectual property legislation.
7.3 The buyer reserves the right to inspect all delivered materials upon receipt. Any damaged, incomplete, or incorrect items must be reported in writing within five (5) business days of delivery to the Australia Sydney receiving office.
7.4 This Purchase Order may only be amended or cancelled by mutual written agreement between both parties. No verbal modifications shall be binding.
7.5 The supplier shall maintain all digital infrastructure supporting The Economist access in accordance with Australian Privacy Act 1988 and applicable data protection standards.
7.6 This Purchase Order does not constitute a long-term contract beyond the stated subscription period. Renewal shall require the issuance of a new Purchase Order.
