The supplier is responsible for all international freight from the United Kingdom to the Port of Japan Osaka, including customs brokerage, import duties, and final-mile delivery within the Japan Osaka metropolitan area. Digital licenses for The Economist platform shall be activated no later than the date specified in Section 3. The Japan Osaka distribution team will coordinate weekly print deliveries to 140 retail points across the Japan Osaka prefecture, including major commercial districts in Umeda, Namba, and Tennoji.
Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made via international wire transfer to the supplier's designated account within 30 days of the invoice date. The currency of settlement shall be Japanese Yen (JPY). A 2% early-payment discount applies if the full amount is remitted within 10 days of invoice issuance. Late payments shall accrue interest at 1.5% per month in accordance with Japan Osaka commercial transaction regulations. The purchasing entity reserves the right to withhold payment for any line item where delivery to Japan Osaka does not meet the quality and timing specifications outlined in this Purchase Order.
