All digital subscriptions, data packages, and electronic reports shall be delivered via secure encrypted transfer to the Buyer's designated IT infrastructure at the Manila headquarters. Physical print copies of The Economist shall be delivered via internationally recognized courier service to the following Philippine addresses: (a) 12th Floor, Ayala Center Tower 3, Makati City, Metro Manila; (b) 4565 EDSA, Brgy. San Antonio, Quezon City, Philippines; and (c) 88 Cebu Business Park, Cebu City, Philippines. The Buyer shall have ten (10) business days from the date of delivery to inspect and accept or reject the goods and services. Acceptance shall be confirmed in writing by the Procurement Manager.
This Purchase Order is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. In the event of any dispute arising from or in connection with this Purchase Order, the parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation. Should negotiation fail, the dispute shall be submitted to arbitration under the rules of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. (PDRCI) in Manila, Philippines. The language of the arbitration shall be English. This Purchase Order constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior negotiations, representations, and agreements. No modification of this Purchase Order shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by authorized representatives of both parties. The Seller warrants that all digital content, including The Economist articles, EIU reports, and data dashboards, shall be free from defects and shall be provided in full compliance with applicable Philippine data privacy laws (Data Privacy Act of 2012, Republic Act No. 10173).
Note 1: All print deliveries to the Philippines must be clearly marked "ECONOMIST – BUSINESS PUBLICATION" to facilitate customs clearance at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and Manila International Airport. The Seller shall provide a commercial invoice and packing list with each shipment.
Note 2: The institutional digital license for The Economist must be configured to allow access from Philippine IP addresses and must support the Philippine Standard Time (PST, UTC+8) timezone for all scheduled content releases.
Note 3: The commissioned research briefing on the Philippine Economic Outlook 2026 must be reviewed and approved by the Buyer's Chief Economist prior to final delivery. Two (2) revision cycles are included at no additional cost.
Note 4: The in-person workshop in Manila shall be conducted at the Buyer's conference facility in Makati City. The Buyer shall provide venue, local catering, and logistical support. The Seller shall provide all instructional materials, faculty, and certification of completion for participants.
