All physical copies of The Economist magazine and printed special reports shall be delivered to the TBBIRC headquarters located at Sathorn Square Tower 1, Silom, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand. Delivery shall be made via a licensed courier service operating within the Bangkok metropolitan area. The supplier, The Economist Media Distribution (Thailand) Co., Ltd., shall bear all shipping and handling costs as specified in this Purchase Order. Digital access credentials for The Economist platform shall be transmitted securely to the designated IT administrator at TBBIRC within five (5) business days of confirmed payment. All printed materials must be in English, consistent with the standard publication language of The Economist.
5. Payment Terms and Conditions5.1 Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of invoice issuance, via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Thailand. The remitting bank shall be located in Bangkok, Thailand.
5.2 The supplier shall issue a valid Thai Tax Invoice (Fap Tur) in accordance with the Revenue Code of Thailand. All amounts are quoted in Thai Baht (THB) and are inclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate of 7%.
5.3 In the event of late payment, a penalty interest of 1.5% per month shall be applied to the outstanding balance, calculated from the due date until full settlement.
5.4 This Purchase Order is subject to the commercial laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Bangkok, Thailand.
6. Acceptance, Cancellation, and AmendmentThis Purchase Order becomes binding upon written acceptance by the supplier. TBBIRC reserves the right to amend or cancel this Purchase Order in whole or in part, provided that written notice is given to The Economist Media Distribution (Thailand) Co., Ltd. at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the scheduled delivery date. Any amendments to the scope, quantity, or pricing of The Economist subscriptions and services must be documented in a formal amendment letter signed by both parties. The supplier shall confirm receipt of this Purchase Order within three (3) business days of issuance.
7. Quality Assurance and Service LevelThe supplier guarantees that all printed editions of The Economist delivered to the Bangkok office shall be in pristine condition, free from damage, and correspond to the current weekly issue. Digital access to The Economist platform shall maintain an uptime of no less than 99.5% per calendar month. In the event of service interruption exceeding four (4) consecutive hours, the supplier shall provide a proportional credit against the next invoice. TBBIRC's Quality Assurance team in Bangkok shall conduct monthly audits of the subscription fulfilment and report any discrepancies to the supplier within five (5) business days.
8. Confidentiality and Data ProtectionBoth parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the terms of this Purchase Order and any business information exchanged in connection with the procurement of The Economist publications. Personal data of individual subscribers shall be handled in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Thailand, B.E. 2562 (2019). No data shall be transferred outside Thailand without explicit written consent from TBBIRC.
