The Editor will be assigned to the Canada Montreal headquarters and will report directly to the Chief Content Officer. All deliverables, editorial calendars, and quality control reports produced by the Editor must comply with the Canadian Press Stylebook and the company's internal editorial guidelines. The Editor is expected to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with availability for occasional weekend revisions during peak publication cycles.

1. Scope of Work: The Editor shall perform all duties as outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW-2025-CM-04872). The Editor's responsibilities include but are not limited to manuscript evaluation, developmental editing, line editing, copyediting, proofreading, and final quality assurance for all publications produced by Montreal Publishing & Media Group Inc. in Canada Montreal.
2. Location of Work: The Editor shall be physically present at the Canada Montreal office located at 1450 Rue Sainte-Catherine Ouest for a minimum of four (4) days per week. Remote work from any location within Canada is permitted for one (1) day per week, subject to approval by the Chief Content Officer.
3. Payment Schedule: Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made in monthly installments within thirty (30) days of invoice receipt. All payments shall be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the vendor's registered account in Canada.
4. Confidentiality: The Editor agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all manuscripts, unpublished content, business strategies, and proprietary information encountered during the course of employment. This obligation extends for two (2) years following the termination of this Purchase Order agreement.
5. Compliance: The Editor must comply with all applicable federal and provincial laws of Canada, including the Quebec Charter of the French Language (Bill 96) where applicable to editorial content, the Canadian Copyright Act, and all employment standards legislation in the province of Quebec.
6. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination, the Editor shall complete all in-progress editorial tasks and deliver all work-in-progress files to the company within the notice period.
7. Intellectual Property: All editorial work, notes, annotations, and revised manuscripts produced by the Editor under this Purchase Order shall be the sole intellectual property of Montreal Publishing & Media Group Inc.
8. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

The Editor's services shall commence on July 1, 2025, at the Canada Montreal headquarters. Acceptance of the Editor's initial onboarding and first month of deliverables shall be confirmed in writing by the Chief Content Officer no later than August 15, 2025. Any deficiencies in the Editor's performance during the first thirty (30) days shall be addressed through a formal performance review, and corrective action plans shall be documented and signed by both parties.
