The Editor engaged through this Purchase Order shall operate primarily from the client's offices in Mexico Mexico City, specifically at the address listed in the header. The Editor's responsibilities include but are not limited to: reviewing all manuscripts prior to publication; ensuring adherence to the editorial style guide established by Editorial Solutions Group; coordinating with authors, translators, and designers located throughout Mexico Mexico City; maintaining the editorial database and version control system; and providing written feedback within 48 hours of receiving any document for review. The Editor shall also attend all quarterly planning meetings held in Mexico Mexico City and submit monthly progress reports to the Director of Publications.
- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Editorial Solutions Group, S.A. de C.V. and Redacción Profesional del Valle, S.C. for the provision of Editor services in Mexico Mexico City. Both parties acknowledge and accept all terms stated herein.
- The Editor shall commence services on June 23, 2025, and the engagement period shall extend through September 22, 2025, unless otherwise extended by mutual written agreement. All work shall be performed in Mexico Mexico City or as otherwise directed by the client in writing.
- Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by the vendor. Invoices must be submitted to the procurement department in Mexico Mexico City no later than the 5th business day of each month. Payment is due within 30 calendar days of invoice receipt.
- The Editor shall maintain full confidentiality regarding all unpublished content, client information, and proprietary materials encountered during the course of this Purchase Order. A separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has been executed and is attached as Appendix A.
- All deliverables produced by the Editor under this Purchase Order shall become the exclusive intellectual property of Editorial Solutions Group upon full payment. The Editor retains no rights to reproduce, distribute, or publish any work product without prior written consent.
- The vendor shall ensure that the Editor assigned to this Purchase Order holds a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Literature, or a related field, and possesses at least five (5) years of professional editorial experience in the Mexico Mexico City publishing industry.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall pay for all services rendered up to the termination date. The Editor shall complete all in-progress documents within the notice period.
- All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Mexico Mexico City in accordance with the Commercial Code of Mexico. If mediation fails, the matter shall be submitted to the competent commercial courts of Mexico Mexico City.
- The vendor is responsible for all applicable taxes, social security contributions (IMSS), and labor obligations related to the Editor as mandated by Mexican federal and Mexico Mexico City local labor regulations.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States and the local regulations applicable in Mexico Mexico City.
