The Editor shall be responsible for reviewing, proofreading, fact-checking, and finalizing all manuscript content prior to publication. All editorial work shall be conducted in accordance with the publishing standards established by the Saudi Press Agency and the General Commission for Audiovisual Media (GCAM) in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.

The Editor engaged under this Purchase Order must demonstrate a minimum of ten (10) years of professional editorial experience in both Arabic and English languages, with a proven track record in academic, journalistic, and commercial publishing. The Editor shall be physically based in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, and shall report to the Procurement Director of Al-Riyadh Media & Publishing Group Ltd. on a weekly basis during the contract period.

All prices are quoted in Saudi Riyals (SAR) and are inclusive of all applicable local taxes in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. No additional charges shall apply unless explicitly authorized in writing by the Buyer.

1. Scope of Work: The Editor shall perform all editorial duties as outlined in the attached Statement of Work (SOW-2025-04782). The Editor shall ensure all content complies with Saudi Arabian publishing regulations, cultural sensitivities, and the editorial standards of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh-based media organizations.
2. Delivery Schedule: All edited manuscripts shall be delivered within five (5) business days of receipt by the Editor. Monthly reports shall be submitted to the Buyer by the last working day of each calendar month.
3. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the Supplier. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the Supplier's designated account in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh. The Buyer reserves the right to withhold payment for any deliverables that do not meet the agreed quality standards.
4. Confidentiality: The Editor shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all manuscripts, proprietary content, and business information of Al-Riyadh Media & Publishing Group Ltd. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) shall be executed prior to the commencement of work.
5. Intellectual Property: All edited content, style guides, and editorial documentation produced under this Purchase Order shall remain the sole intellectual property of the Buyer, Al-Riyadh Media & Publishing Group Ltd., Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
6. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Supplier shall be compensated for all work completed and accepted up to the date of termination.
7. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved through the competent courts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
8. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government mandates, or public health emergencies in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, and scope of work defined in this Purchase Order. The Editor services described herein shall commence on 1 July 2025 and shall continue for a period of six (6) months unless extended by mutual written agreement.
