This Purchase Order is issued by the Kyoto Municipal Education Board to formally procure the professional services of a qualified Education Administrator for a twelve-month contractual engagement at the Kyoto Prefectural International School, located in the Higashiyama district of Japan Kyoto. Payment Terms: The base monthly fee (Line 1) shall be paid on the last business day of each calendar month via bank transfer to the account designated by the Supplier. The one-time allowances (Lines 2 and 3) shall be disbursed within 15 business days of the Education Administrator's confirmed start date in Japan Kyoto. The performance bonus (Line 5) shall be paid within 30 days of the final quarterly report acceptance by the Kyoto Municipal Education Board. All payments are subject to applicable Japanese withholding tax regulations as governed by the National Tax Agency of Japan.

4. CONTRACT DURATION & TERMINATION

This Purchase Order establishes a fixed-term engagement commencing on 1 September 2025 and concluding on 31 August 2026, unless renewed in writing by mutual agreement of both parties no fewer than 60 days prior to the expiration date. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice in the event of material breach, provided that the Education Administrator's duties are transitioned in a manner that does not disrupt ongoing academic operations at the Kyoto Prefectural International School in Japan Kyoto. Upon termination, all institutional records, student data, and administrative documents in the possession of the Education Administrator must be returned to the Kyoto Municipal Education Board within 5 business days.

5. COMPLIANCE & GOVERNING LAW

This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, specifically the Japanese Civil Code, the Act on Special Measures Concerning Contracting for Public Works, and all applicable regulations issued by the MEXT and the Kyoto Prefectural Government. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Japan Kyoto before submission to the Kyoto District Court. The Education Administrator shall comply with all data protection obligations under the Japanese Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI) when handling student and faculty records.

NOTE: This Purchase Order is a binding procurement document. The Education Administrator engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid work visa or residence permit issued by the Immigration Services Agency of Japan and must be registered with the Japan Teachers' Union or an equivalent professional body recognized by the MEXT.
