- Scope of Work: This Purchase Order covers all Electrical Engineer professional services, equipment supply, installation, testing, and commissioning activities required for the Phase II industrial expansion at Hlaing Industrial Zone, Myanmar Yangon. All work shall comply with the Myanmar Electricity Board (MEB) regulations, Myanmar Standards (Myanmar Industrial Standards), and applicable international IEC standards.
- Qualification Requirements: All Electrical Engineer personnel assigned to this project must hold valid professional registration with the Myanmar Engineering Council and possess a minimum of five (5) years of relevant industrial electrical experience in Myanmar Yangon or equivalent Southeast Asian industrial environments. The lead Electrical Engineer must be a Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent.
- Delivery and Installation: All equipment shall be delivered to the project site in Hlaing Industrial Zone, Myanmar Yangon, no later than 15 July 2025. Installation and commissioning shall be completed by 30 August 2025. The supplier shall coordinate with the Myanmar Electricity Board for any required grid connection approvals specific to the Myanmar Yangon metropolitan area.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in Myanmar Kyat (MMK) via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account. The payment schedule is as follows: 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Purchase Order; 40% upon delivery and acceptance of all major equipment at the Myanmar Yangon site; 25% upon successful commissioning and load testing; 5% retention released 90 days after final acceptance, subject to satisfactory performance.
- Warranty: The supplier shall provide a minimum two (2) year warranty on all supplied equipment and a one (1) year warranty on all Electrical Engineer design and installation work. Warranty claims shall be addressed within fourteen (14) working days of written notification.
- Insurance and Liability: The supplier shall maintain comprehensive public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance covering all Electrical Engineer activities at the Myanmar Yangon project site. The supplier assumes full responsibility for any damage to existing infrastructure caused during installation.
- Compliance and Permits: The supplier is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals from the Myanmar Electricity Board, Yangon City Development Committee, and any other relevant Myanmar Yangon municipal authorities prior to commencing work.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith. If unresolved within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the Myanmar Arbitration Law, with proceedings conducted in Myanmar Yangon.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by natural disasters, government regulations, or events beyond reasonable control, provided written notice is given within five (5) working days.
