- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Al-Madina Engineering & Infrastructure Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd. and the named Electrical Engineer for the provision of professional electrical engineering services in Pakistan Karachi. Acceptance of this Purchase Order by the vendor signifies full agreement to all terms stated herein.
- The Electrical Engineer shall hold a valid professional license issued by the Sindh Electrical Engineers Council and shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than PKR 10,000,000 throughout the duration of this engagement in Pakistan Karachi.
- All work shall comply with the Pakistan Electrical and Electronic Equipment (PEEE) standards, the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) regulations, and the KESC technical guidelines applicable to commercial buildings in Pakistan Karachi.
- The Electrical Engineer shall report to the Project Manager of Al-Madina Engineering on a weekly basis and shall attend all site coordination meetings held at the project office in Clifton, Pakistan Karachi.
- Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the Electrical Engineer. The 30% advance payment shall be released within 7 working days of signed acceptance of this Purchase Order. The 40% mid-project payment shall be released upon completion of all installation works. The final 30% payment shall be released upon successful commissioning and submission of all documentation.
- The Electrical Engineer shall be responsible for all statutory taxes, professional fees, and regulatory charges applicable in Pakistan Karachi. Withholding tax of 5% shall be deducted at source as per the Income Tax Ordinance 2001 of Pakistan.
- Any variation in scope of work must be approved in writing by both parties prior to execution. No additional charges shall be claimed without a formal variation order issued under this Purchase Order.
- The Electrical Engineer shall not subcontract any portion of the professional services without prior written consent from Al-Madina Engineering. All work shall be performed personally or under the direct supervision of the licensed Electrical Engineer.
- In the event of default or failure to meet the required commencement date of 01 July 2025, a penalty of PKR 25,000 per day shall be applicable until the Electrical Engineer commences work at the Pakistan Karachi site.
- This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pakistan Karachi, Sindh.
- The Electrical Engineer shall maintain complete confidentiality regarding all project drawings, specifications, and proprietary information of Al-Madina Engineering. This obligation shall survive the completion of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years.
By signing below, the undersigned parties acknowledge and accept all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Electrical Engineer for the Clifton Commercial Tower Project in Pakistan Karachi.
