- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Purchasing Party and the Supplier upon countersignature. All services shall be performed in accordance with the scope defined herein and applicable UK legislation governing electrical engineering practice in United Kingdom London.
- The Electrical Engineer and all associated personnel engaged under this Purchase Order must hold valid membership with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) or the Engineering Council (EngC) and possess a minimum of ten (10) years' post-qualification experience in commercial and industrial electrical design within the United Kingdom.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid VAT invoice. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-2025-LDN-04872) and be submitted to the accounts department at Meridian Infrastructure Solutions Ltd., 142 Fleet Street, London EC4A 2BL, United Kingdom London.
- The Supplier shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than £5,000,000 and public liability insurance of no less than £10,000,000 for the duration of the engagement. Certificates of insurance shall be provided prior to commencement of work on the United Kingdom London site.
- All design deliverables, drawings, calculations, and reports produced under this Purchase Order shall be the intellectual property of Meridian Infrastructure Solutions Ltd. upon full payment. The Electrical Engineer shall provide all source files in AutoCAD (.dwg), Revit MEP, and PDF formats.
- The Supplier shall comply with all Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 requirements, the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, and all site-specific safety protocols applicable to construction and engineering activities in United Kingdom London.
- Any variation to the scope of services must be agreed in writing via a formal Variation Order referencing this Purchase Order. No additional charges shall be incurred without prior written approval from the Purchasing Party.
- This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom London.
- The Supplier shall not subcontract any portion of the Electrical Engineer services without prior written consent from the Purchasing Party. Any approved subcontractor shall be bound by the same terms and conditions set out in this Purchase Order.
- Confidentiality: All project information, site data, and commercial details shared under this Purchase Order shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without written consent, in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR.
