Payment shall be made in Colombian Pesos (COP) via bank transfer to the vendor’s designated account. The payment schedule for this Purchase Order is structured as follows: 30% advance payment upon signing and receipt of the signed Purchase Order; 40% upon completion of items 01 through 04 and verification by the buyer’s site supervisor; and the remaining 30% upon final acceptance, delivery of the electrical compliance certificate, and submission of all as-built documentation. All invoices must include the vendor’s NIT, the Purchase Order number (PO-MDE-2025-0487), and a valid factura electrónica issued through the DIAN (Dirección de Impuestos Nacionales) electronic invoicing platform as mandated by Colombian tax law.
The Electrician shall commence work on June 20, 2025, and shall complete all installation activities no later than August 15, 2025. Work hours are restricted to 07:00 to 18:00 on weekdays to comply with the noise and construction regulations of the El Poblado neighborhood in Medellín. The vendor is responsible for obtaining all necessary construction permits from the Alcaldía de Medellín and coordination with EPM for any service interruptions or panel interconnections. Any delays attributable to the Electrician will incur a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per calendar day of delay, capped at 10%.
- The Electrician guarantees all workmanship and materials for a minimum period of two (2) years from the date of final acceptance, in accordance with Colombian consumer protection law (Ley 1480 de 2011).
- All materials used must be new, of commercial grade, and carry the appropriate certification marks recognized in Colombia (INVIMA, NTC, or equivalent).
- The vendor shall maintain full public liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage (Arl) for all personnel on-site throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.
- The Electrician shall provide a minimum team of one (1) licensed master electrician, two (2) certified electrician apprentices, and one (1) safety officer for all on-site activities in Medellín.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the commercial laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any disputes shall be resolved through the competent commercial courts of Medellín, Antioquia.
- The vendor shall comply with all environmental regulations of Colombia, including proper disposal of electrical waste (cables, panels, and fixtures) in accordance with Resolution 1721 of 2002 and local Medellín waste management ordinances.
