- Compliance: The Electrician contractor shall ensure all work performed under this Purchase Order adheres to the Egyptian Electrical Code, IEC 60364, and all applicable regulations of the Cairo Governorate and the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company. Non-compliance shall result in immediate work stoppage at the contractor's expense.
- Warranty: All electrical materials and workmanship are covered by a minimum two-year warranty from the date of final acceptance. The Electrician shall rectify any defects arising within this period at no additional cost to the buyer.
- Payment Schedule: 30% advance payment upon signing this Purchase Order; 40% upon completion of wiring and panel installation; 30% upon final inspection and handover. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's account registered with the Egyptian Tax Authority.
- Insurance: The Electrician contractor shall maintain comprehensive liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all personnel operating in Cairo, Egypt, with a minimum coverage of EGP 5,000,000 per occurrence.
- Permits & Approvals: The supplier is responsible for obtaining all necessary electrical work permits from the Cairo Governorate and the local EEHC branch prior to commencing any installation work.
- Penalties: For each calendar day of delay beyond the agreed completion date, the Electrician contractor shall pay a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day, capped at 10% of the total value.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Cairo, Egypt, in accordance with the rules of the Egyptian Arbitration Centre, and the governing law shall be the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated shutdowns, or civil unrest in the Cairo metropolitan area.
- Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the terms of this Purchase Order and any proprietary information exchanged during the course of the Electrician services engagement.
