2. Scope of Work – Electrician ServicesThis Purchase Order is issued by Al-Rafidain Construction & Development Co. Ltd. to Tigris Electrical Solutions & Electrician Services LLC for the provision of comprehensive electrician services, electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works at the following project site in Iraq Baghdad:
Project Site: Al-Zawraa Residential Complex, Block C, Al-Zawraa District, Baghdad, Iraq
Project Reference: AZRC-2025-Phase-3
The Electrician and his qualified team shall perform all electrical works in strict compliance with the Iraqi National Electrical Code (INEC), the Baghdad Municipality Building Regulations, and all applicable safety standards mandated by the Ministry of Electricity, Republic of Iraq. The Electrician is required to hold a valid Iraqi Electrical Contractor License (Category A) and all team members must possess certified electrician qualifications recognized by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

- Delivery / Commencement: The Electrician shall commence all works at the Iraq Baghdad project site no later than 22 June 2025. All materials must be delivered to the site within 5 working days of this Purchase Order's acceptance.
- Completion Deadline: All electrician services and installation works must be fully completed, tested, and certified by 15 August 2025. Time is of the essence under this Purchase Order.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three (3) installments: 30% upon commencement and delivery of materials to the Iraq Baghdad site; 50% upon completion of installation works and passing of interim inspection; 20% upon final commissioning, handover, and issuance of the Electrician's completion certificate. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's account at the Central Bank of Iraq, Baghdad Branch, within 15 working days of invoice approval.
- Warranty: The Electrician provides a minimum two (2) year warranty on all labor and workmanship, and a three (3) year warranty on all supplied electrical materials and equipment. Any defects discovered during the warranty period shall be rectified by the Electrician at no additional cost within 7 working days of written notice.
- Compliance and Permits: The Electrician is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, inspections, and approvals from the Baghdad Municipality, the Iraqi Ministry of Electricity, and the local electrical inspection authority in Iraq Baghdad prior to and during the execution of works.
- Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): The Electrician shall maintain full compliance with all HSE regulations applicable in Iraq Baghdad. All electrician team members must wear appropriate PPE, and a site-specific safety plan must be submitted before commencement. The Electrician shall carry a minimum of IQD 50,000,000 in professional liability insurance.
- Penalties for Delay: In the event of delay beyond the completion deadline, the Electrician shall pay liquidated damages of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay, capped at 10% of the total value.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Iraq. Any disputes shall be resolved through the Baghdad Commercial Court, Iraq Baghdad.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of war, civil unrest in Iraq Baghdad, government-imposed curfews, or natural disasters, provided written notice is given within 48 hours.
- Subcontracting: The Electrician shall not subcontract any portion of the electrician services without prior written consent from the Purchaser. Any approved subcontractor shall be bound by the same terms as this Purchase Order.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications outlined in this Purchase Order for the electrician services to be performed in Iraq Baghdad. This document constitutes a binding agreement between the Purchaser and the Electrician service provider.
