- Acceptance: This Purchase Order shall become a binding contract upon written acceptance by the Electrician service provider (PrimeVolt Electrician Services) within five (5) business days of the date of issue. Failure to respond within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
- Compliance: The Electrician contractor shall ensure that all work performed in Sri Lanka Colombo adheres to the Sri Lanka Standards (SLS) for electrical installations, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) technical regulations, and the building by-laws of the Colombo Municipal Council. All materials used must carry valid SLS certification marks.
- Licensing: The Electrician and all sub-contractors engaged under this Purchase Order must hold valid licenses issued by the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) and the relevant local authority in Sri Lanka Colombo. Copies of all licenses shall be submitted prior to commencing work.
- Timeline: The Electrician shall mobilize to the site within three (3) working days of Purchase Order acceptance. All works must be completed, tested, and certified no later than 30 July 2025. Delays exceeding five (5) working days beyond the stipulated date shall attract a penalty of LKR 5,000 per day.
- Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in three (3) installments: (a) 30% advance upon Purchase Order acceptance; (b) 50% upon completion of all installation works and prior to final inspection; (c) 20% upon successful final inspection, issuance of the Electrical Installation Certificate, and submission of all as-built documentation. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account specified by the Electrician provider.
- Warranty: The Electrician shall provide a minimum twelve (12) month warranty on all labor and workmanship, and a twenty-four (24) month warranty on all supplied materials and equipment. Any defects discovered within the warranty period shall be rectified by the Electrician at no additional cost to the Buyer.
- Insurance: The Electrician contractor shall maintain comprehensive public liability insurance of not less than LKR 10,000,000 and workers' compensation insurance for all personnel working on-site in Sri Lanka Colombo. Certificates of insurance shall be provided before work commences.
- Health and Safety: The Electrician shall comply with all occupational health and safety regulations applicable in Sri Lanka. All electricians on-site must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow lockout/tagout procedures for all live electrical work.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall first be attempted to be resolved through amicable negotiation. If unresolved within fifteen (15) days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration Act of Sri Lanka, with the seat of arbitration in Colombo, Sri Lanka Colombo.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or CEB supply interruptions common in certain areas of Sri Lanka Colombo.
- Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all proprietary information exchanged under this Purchase Order and shall not disclose such information to third parties without prior written consent.
The Electrician shall have access to the premises at 78, Havelock Road, Colombo 05, Sri Lanka Colombo, between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 on weekdays. The Electrician is required to coordinate with the site supervisor, Mr. Kavindu Silva (Phone: +94 76 555 1234), for daily access and scheduling. All tools, equipment, and materials brought to the site by the Electrician shall be the sole responsibility of the Electrician contractor. The site is located in a densely populated residential area of Sri Lanka Colombo, and the Electrician must ensure minimal disruption to neighboring properties, including noise control during working hours and proper disposal of all electrical waste in accordance with Sri Lankan environmental regulations.
