Scope of Work – Electrician Services
This Purchase Order is issued by Meridian Property Management Ltd. to BrightSpark Electrical Services Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Electrician) for the provision of comprehensive electrical installation, inspection, and maintenance services at the above-referenced commercial property located in United Kingdom London. Terms and Conditions
- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Meridian Property Management Ltd. and the appointed Electrician, BrightSpark Electrical Services Ltd., for the electrical works described herein at the site located in United Kingdom London.
- The Electrician shall ensure that all personnel assigned to this project hold valid NICEIC or NAPIT accreditation and appropriate City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications in electrical installation. All workers must carry photographic identification and comply with the site's health and safety induction requirements.
- All electrical works must be completed in full compliance with the IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), the Building Regulations (Part P), and any specific requirements imposed by the relevant London local authority or the City of London Corporation. The Electrician is responsible for obtaining all necessary building control sign-offs and electrical installation certificates (EIC) prior to handover.
- The Electrician shall maintain a minimum level of public liability insurance of £5,000,000 and employers' liability insurance of £10,000,000 throughout the duration of the works. Certificates of insurance must be provided to the Purchaser prior to commencement of work on site in United Kingdom London.
- Work shall commence on 23 June 2025 and is expected to be completed no later than 15 August 2025, subject to weather conditions and access availability. Any delays attributable to the Electrician shall incur a liquidated damages charge of £500 per calendar day.
- Payment shall be made within 30 days of receipt of a valid VAT invoice from the Electrician. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-2025-04782) and the project reference (MPM-LON-2025-034). No payment shall be made for work not expressly detailed in this Purchase Order unless a written variation order has been authorised by the Purchaser's Facilities Manager.
- The Electrician shall provide a minimum 12-month warranty on all labour and workmanship, and shall honour all manufacturer warranties on supplied materials and equipment. Any defects identified within the warranty period shall be rectified at no additional cost to the Purchaser.
- All waste materials generated during the course of the Electrician's works shall be removed from the site in United Kingdom London in accordance with the Environmental Protection Act 1990 and the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011. A waste transfer note must be provided for all hazardous waste, including old cabling, ballasts, and fluorescent tubes.
- This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of United Kingdom London.
- The Electrician shall not subcontract any portion of the works without the prior written consent of the Purchaser. Any approved subcontractor shall be bound by the same terms and conditions set out in this Purchase Order.
