- Compliance: All Electrician work performed under this Purchase Order shall strictly comply with the 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC), the Chicago Building Code, and all ordinances of the City of Chicago, Illinois, United States. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits prior to commencing work.
- Licensing: The Electrician service provider, Windy City Electric Solutions, Inc., warrants that it holds a valid Illinois Electrical Contractor License (No. 058-112345) and that all journeyman and master electricians assigned to this project in United States Chicago are individually licensed and insured.
- Insurance: The contractor shall maintain a minimum of $2,000,000 in general liability insurance, $1,000,000 in workers' compensation coverage, and $500,000 in automobile liability insurance for the duration of this Purchase Order. Certificates of insurance shall be provided to the Buyer prior to the start date.
- Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice. A 15% mobilization deposit is due upon execution of this Purchase Order. The remaining balance shall be paid in two equal installments: 50% upon completion of 60% of the work scope and 50% upon final inspection sign-off by the Chicago Department of Buildings.
- Warranty: The Electrician contractor provides a two-year (24-month) workmanship warranty on all labor and a full manufacturer's warranty pass-through on all installed materials. Any defects discovered within the warranty period at the United States Chicago project site shall be remediated at no additional cost to the Buyer.
- Schedule: The total estimated project duration is twenty (20) business days from the approved start date of June 23, 2025. The Electrician team shall work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend work unless expressly authorized in writing by the Buyer.
- Site Access & Safety: The contractor shall adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and the Buyer's site-specific safety plan. All Electrician personnel must wear appropriate PPE and comply with lockout/tagout procedures. The contractor is responsible for all cleanup and debris removal from the United States Chicago job site daily.
- Change Orders: Any modifications to the scope of work outlined in this Purchase Order must be documented in a written Change Order signed by both parties before additional work commences. No verbal agreements shall be binding.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Cook County, Chicago, Illinois, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with fourteen (14) days' written notice. Upon termination, the Buyer shall pay for all work completed and materials delivered up to the termination date.
