This Purchase Order is issued by GreenScape Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. to formally engage the professional services of a qualified Environmental Engineer for the duration of the "Mumbai Coastal Development Phase II" project. The Environmental Engineer shall be deployed at the project site located within the India Mumbai metropolitan region and shall be responsible for all environmental impact assessments, regulatory compliance monitoring, and sustainability advisory functions as outlined in this Purchase Order.

Total Estimated Contract Value: INR ₹14,25,000 (Rupees Fourteen Lakh Twenty-Five Thousand Only) plus applicable GST at 18% as per the prevailing tax structure in India Mumbai.
2. Qualifications Required of the Environmental EngineerThe Environmental Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order must satisfy the following mandatory criteria:
- Post-graduate degree (M.Tech / M.Sc.) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline from a UGC/AICTE-recognized university in India.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive professional experience in environmental consulting, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience on infrastructure or industrial projects in the India Mumbai metropolitan area.
- Membership in good standing with the Institution of Engineers (India) – IEM, Mumbai Chapter, and registration with the Maharashtra State Pollution Control Board as a recognized environmental consultant.
- Demonstrated familiarity with the Environmental Protection Act, 1986; the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974; the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981; and all applicable municipal by-laws of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
- Proficiency in environmental monitoring software (e.g., EPA models, GIS-based dispersion modelling) and report generation tools.
- Acceptance: This Purchase Order shall become a binding contract upon written acceptance by the vendor within seven (7) calendar days of the date of issue. Failure to respond within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
- Commencement: The Environmental Engineer shall report to the project site in India Mumbai no later than 20 June 2025. A formal mobilization meeting shall be held at the buyer's office in Andheri East, India Mumbai.
- Payment Schedule: Invoices submitted by the vendor shall be processed within thirty (30) days of receipt. Payments shall be made via NEFT/RTGS to the bank account specified in the vendor's GST registration. All payments are subject to TDS deduction at 10% as per Section 194J of the Income Tax Act, 1961, applicable in India Mumbai.
- Performance Security: The vendor shall furnish a Bank Guarantee of INR ₹2,00,000 from a scheduled bank operating in India Mumbai, valid for the entire contract duration plus 90 days.
- Confidentiality: All data, reports, and site-specific information generated under this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of the buyer. The Environmental Engineer shall sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to site access.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of material breach, termination may be effected with seven (7) days' notice. Termination shall not affect accrued payment obligations.
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Purchase Order shall first be attempted to be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution within 30 days, the matter shall be referred to arbitration in India Mumbai in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The seat of arbitration shall be Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by natural disasters, government orders, pandemics, or other events beyond reasonable control, provided written notice is given within 48 hours of the event occurring in the India Mumbai region.
- Insurance: The Environmental Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than INR ₹50,00,000 for the duration of the engagement, with the policy issued by an insurer licensed to operate in India Mumbai.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and the courts of India Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms, conditions, and scope of work detailed in this Purchase Order for the engagement of an Environmental Engineer in the India Mumbai project region.
