This Purchase Order is issued to procure the professional services of a qualified Environmental Engineer to support the Ministry of Environment in the execution of environmental monitoring, compliance auditing, and sustainability planning initiatives across Kuwait Kuwait City. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait and the Kuwait Public Procurement Law (Law No. 11 of 2016, as amended). The following terms apply to the engagement of the Environmental Engineer:
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within 45 days of receipt of an approved invoice. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (KWT-ENV-2025-00472) and be submitted to the Ministry of Environment accounts office in Kuwait Kuwait City.
- Performance Bond: The vendor shall provide a performance bond equivalent to 10% of the total Purchase Order value, issued by a Kuwaiti bank, prior to the commencement of the Environmental Engineer's duties.
- Compliance: The Environmental Engineer must hold a valid professional license issued by the Kuwait Ministry of Commerce and Industry and must comply with all environmental regulations enforced in Kuwait Kuwait City.
- Confidentiality: All data, reports, and findings generated under this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of the Ministry of Environment. The Environmental Engineer shall sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to accessing sensitive environmental data.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 60 days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Environmental Engineer shall deliver all completed work products and data to the Ministry within 14 days.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Kuwait Disputes Resolution Center located in Kuwait Kuwait City, in accordance with Kuwaiti law.
- Insurance: The vendor shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of KWD 500,000 for the duration of the Environmental Engineer's assignment in Kuwait Kuwait City.
