This Purchase Order is issued to procure the professional services of a qualified Environmental Engineer to carry out comprehensive environmental impact assessment, monitoring, and compliance activities for the Federal Government of Nigeria infrastructure development project located in Nigeria Abuja. The Environmental Engineer shall be responsible for the following deliverables:

  1. Validity: This Purchase Order is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. The Environmental Engineer services shall commence within fourteen (14) calendar days of the formal acceptance of this Purchase Order by the Supplier.
  2. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in four (4) equal quarterly installments of NGN 9,473,437.50 each, payable within thirty (30) days of the submission and approval of the corresponding quarterly progress report by the Federal Ministry of Environment, Abuja, Nigeria. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by GreenSolutions Environmental Consulting Ltd.
  3. Performance Bond: The Supplier shall provide a Performance Bond equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the total contract value, issued by a Tier-1 bank operating in Nigeria, within seven (7) days of Purchase Order acceptance.
  4. Compliance with Nigerian Law: All services rendered by the Environmental Engineer shall strictly comply with the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA) Act 2011, the Federal Capital Territory Environmental Protection Agency Act, and all applicable environmental regulations in Nigeria Abuja.
  5. Professional Standards: The Environmental Engineer shall maintain valid professional registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the National Institute for Environmental Studies and Vocational Training (NIESV) throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.
  6. Confidentiality: All data, reports, and findings generated under this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of the Federal Government of Nigeria. The Environmental Engineer shall not disclose any project-specific information to third parties without prior written consent.
  7. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination for convenience, the Supplier shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the date of termination, plus reasonable demobilization costs.
  8. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Abuja, Nigeria. If mediation fails, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004.
  9. Insurance: The Environmental Engineer and all personnel deployed under this Purchase Order shall maintain comprehensive professional indemnity insurance and workers' compensation coverage as required by Nigerian law.
  10. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government policy changes, or public health emergencies affecting Nigeria Abuja.
