The Environmental Engineer shall be responsible for all phases of environmental assessment, impact mitigation planning, regulatory compliance reporting, and ongoing site monitoring throughout the project lifecycle.

The Environmental Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution, with a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in environmental consulting within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The Environmental Engineer must be registered with the Qatar Engineers Society and hold a valid professional practice license issued by the Ministry of Municipality in Qatar Doha. Additional qualifications in marine ecology, atmospheric science, or industrial waste management will be considered advantageous given the coastal nature of the project site.

• This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Buyer and the Vendor upon signature by both parties. All services shall be performed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the State of Qatar, specifically those governing environmental protection and engineering practice in Qatar Doha.
• The Environmental Engineer shall commence all duties no later than 21 calendar days from the date of acceptance of this Purchase Order. Any delay beyond this period shall incur a penalty of 0.5% of the total contract value per day of delay, up to a maximum of 10%.
• Payment terms: 30% advance upon signing, 40% upon completion of the EIA and submission to authorities, and 30% upon successful completion of all monitoring and compliance activities. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the Vendor's designated account in Qatar Doha.
• The Vendor shall provide weekly progress reports and monthly comprehensive reports to the Buyer's Environmental Compliance Department. All reports must reference the project code QD-ENV-2025-031 and the Purchase Order number PO-2025-QD-00847.
• The Environmental Engineer shall maintain full professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of QAR 5,000,000, valid throughout the duration of the engagement in Qatar Doha.
• All intellectual property, data, and reports generated under this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of Al Rayyan Infrastructure & Development Company W.L.L.
• Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination, the Vendor shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the termination date.
• Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Qatar Doha in accordance with the Qatar Arbitration Law, with the Qatari language prevailing in the event of any translation discrepancies.
