The following items are procured under this Purchase Order to equip and support the Firefighter personnel of the Dhaka Fire & Rescue Services Authority operating across Bangladesh Dhaka. Terms & Conditions of this Purchase Order
- Scope: This Purchase Order is issued by the Dhaka Fire & Rescue Services Authority for the procurement of Firefighter personal protective equipment, breathing apparatus, communication devices, and rescue tools to be deployed across all Firefighter stations in Bangladesh Dhaka.
- Quality Assurance: All Firefighter equipment supplied under this Purchase Order must carry valid NFPA, EN, or ISO certification. The supplier shall provide test certificates and material safety data sheets for every item. Non-conforming Firefighter gear will be rejected at the Bangladesh Dhaka Central Fire Station inspection point.
- Delivery: The supplier shall deliver all items to the designated Bangladesh Dhaka Fire Station addresses within 60 calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. Partial deliveries are permitted only with prior written approval from the Authority's Procurement Division in Bangladesh Dhaka.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within 30 days of successful delivery and acceptance. 30% advance payment upon signing of this Purchase Order, 60% upon delivery and inspection, and 10% retention released after a 90-day performance warranty period for all Firefighter equipment.
- Warranty: The supplier guarantees a minimum 24-month warranty on all Firefighter turnout gear, SCBA units, and electronic devices. Any defect in Firefighter equipment discovered during the warranty period shall be repaired or replaced at the supplier's cost.
- Compliance: The supplier acknowledges that all Firefighter equipment must meet the Bangladesh National Fire Safety Standards and the operational requirements of Firefighter personnel serving in the high-density urban environment of Bangladesh Dhaka, including extreme monsoon humidity and heat conditions.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved under the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, with jurisdiction in the courts of Bangladesh Dhaka.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by natural disasters, government orders, or events beyond reasonable control, provided written notice is given within 7 days.
