Compliance: All Firefighter equipment supplied under this Purchase Order must meet or exceed the applicable European Union directives and Belgian national standards. The Brussels-Capital Region Firefighter Service requires full CE marking and EN certification documentation to accompany every delivery.
Delivery: The Supplier shall deliver all Firefighter equipment to the designated Brussels Firefighter Headquarters within the timeframe specified. Partial deliveries are not permitted unless pre-approved in writing by the Purchasing Authority. Delivery must be made during standard Belgian business hours (08:00–17:00 CET).
Inspection and Acceptance: Upon arrival in Brussels, the Firefighter Service's technical team shall inspect all items within five (5) working days. Any Firefighter gear found to be non-conforming, damaged, or lacking required certification shall be rejected and replaced at the Supplier's sole expense within ten (10) working days.
Warranty: The Supplier guarantees a minimum five (5) year warranty on all structural Firefighter protective equipment and a three (3) year warranty on electronic devices (thermal imaging cameras, communication modules). Warranty service must be available within the Brussels-Capital Region.
Payment: Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Supplier's Belgian bank account within forty-five (45) days of receipt of a valid invoice, in accordance with the Belgian Law on Late Payment in Commercial Transactions (2003).
Confidentiality: The Supplier acknowledges that this Purchase Order relates to the operational readiness of the Brussels Firefighter Service. All details of this procurement shall be treated as confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent from the Brussels-Capital Region administration.
Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes affecting Belgian logistics, or government-mandated closures within the Brussels-Capital Region.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Purchase Order shall be governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Belgium. Any disputes arising from this Firefighter equipment procurement shall be submitted to the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium.
Sustainability: In line with the Brussels-Capital Region's environmental policy, the Supplier shall ensure that all Firefighter equipment packaging is recyclable and that end-of-life disposal instructions are provided for all components.
