1. This Purchase Order is issued by the City of Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services, Canada Vancouver, British Columbia, and constitutes a binding procurement document for the supply of Firefighter protective equipment and related operational gear. All items listed herein must comply with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards as adopted under the British Columbia Fire Code and the Canada Vancouver Municipal Firefighter Safety Regulations.
2. The vendor, Pacific Northwest Firefighter Equipment Ltd., acknowledges that all Firefighter equipment supplied under this Purchase Order must be new, unused, and manufactured within the last twelve (12) months. Any item found to be defective, non-compliant, or not meeting the specifications outlined for Canada Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services shall be replaced at the vendor's sole expense within fourteen (14) calendar days of notification.
3. Delivery of all Firefighter equipment must be completed no later than August 15, 2025, at the designated Canada Vancouver Fire Station 12 location. The vendor is responsible for all packaging, crating, and transportation costs to ensure the Firefighter gear arrives in pristine condition. Partial deliveries are not permitted unless pre-approved in writing by the Canada Vancouver Procurement Division.
4. Payment shall be made within forty-five (45) days of receipt of a valid invoice and confirmed delivery of all Firefighter items listed in this Purchase Order. Payment will be processed via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the vendor's registered Canadian banking account. All invoices must reference Purchase Order No. PO-2025-FR-04872 and include the Canada Vancouver municipal tax identification number.
5. The vendor warrants that all Firefighter equipment supplied under this Purchase Order carries a minimum manufacturer's warranty of three (3) years from the date of delivery to Canada Vancouver. The vendor shall provide all warranty documentation, maintenance schedules, and compliance certificates (NFPA, CSA, and applicable Canada Vancouver municipal standards) alongside each delivery.
6. This Purchase Order is subject to the Canada Vancouver Municipal Procurement Bylaw and the British Columbia Procurement Services (BCPS) guidelines. The City of Vancouver reserves the right to audit the vendor's compliance records, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance protocols related to all Firefighter equipment supplied under this agreement.
7. In the event of a force majeure event, including but not limited to natural disasters affecting the Canada Vancouver region, the vendor must notify the Canada Vancouver Procurement Division within forty-eight (48) hours to discuss revised delivery timelines for the Firefighter equipment.
Note: This Purchase Order has been reviewed and approved by the Canada Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services Equipment Committee. All Firefighter items have been cross-referenced against the 2025-2026 Canada Vancouver Firefighter Protective Equipment Renewal Schedule. The total expenditure falls within the approved annual budget allocation for Firefighter operational readiness in Canada Vancouver.Prepared By:
