3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. Delivery: All firefighter equipment shall be delivered to the Cairo Fire Department Headquarters, Dokki District, Cairo, Egypt, no later than 45 calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. Delivery must occur between 08:00 and 16:00 EET (Egypt Standard Time) to avoid disruption to active firefighting operations.
  2. Quality Assurance: Every item of firefighter gear must carry a certificate of conformity issued by the Egyptian Standards and Metrology Organization (ESMO) and, where applicable, a valid NFPA or EN certification. The supplier shall provide a 24-month warranty on all equipment from the date of acceptance in Cairo.
  3. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three installments: 30% upon signing of this Purchase Order, 50% upon delivery and inspection of all firefighter items at the Cairo receiving warehouse, and 20% upon successful completion of the training program and final acceptance sign-off by Chief Inspector El-Sayed.
  4. Compliance with Egyptian Law: This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from the procurement of these firefighter supplies shall be resolved through the Egyptian Arbitration Center in Cairo. The supplier acknowledges that all equipment is intended for use by licensed firefighters operating under the authority of the Cairo Metropolitan Fire & Rescue Department.
  5. Inspection & Rejection: The Cairo Fire Department reserves the right to inspect and test all delivered firefighter equipment within 10 business days of arrival. Any item found non-compliant with the specifications stated herein shall be rejected at the supplier's expense and replaced within 15 business days.
  6. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters affecting the Cairo region, government-mandated closures, or supply chain disruptions. Affected parties must notify the other in writing within 48 hours.
  7. Confidentiality: All operational details regarding the deployment of firefighters and the location of fire stations in Egypt Cairo shall be treated as confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written authorization from the Cairo Metropolitan Fire & Rescue Authority.
NOTE: This Purchase Order is specifically issued to support the ongoing modernization of firefighter capabilities in Egypt Cairo. All equipment must be suitable for the unique operational challenges faced by firefighters in the Cairo metropolitan area, including extreme summer temperatures exceeding 45°C, high dust and sand levels, dense urban construction with narrow access routes, and the presence of both modern high-rise structures and historic low-rise buildings in districts such as Old Cairo, Islamic Cairo, and the New Administrative Capital. 4.
