Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Supply: This Purchase Order covers the supply, delivery, calibration, and initial installation of all listed firefighter equipment for the Milan Fire Brigade (Corpo dei Vigili del Fuoco di Milano). All items must comply with current Italian national regulations and applicable European Union directives governing personal protective equipment for firefighters.

2. Delivery: The vendor shall deliver all goods to the designated fire station located at Via San Tomaso, 7, 20124 Milan, Italy, no later than 01 August 2025. Delivery must be scheduled in coordination with the Milan fire command to avoid disruption to active emergency response operations. All freight, insurance, and customs handling (if applicable) are included in the stated prices.

3. Quality Assurance: Every unit of firefighter protective clothing, SCBA, and safety equipment must carry valid CE marking and be traceable to the EN 469:2020 standard or equivalent. The vendor shall provide certificates of conformity, test reports, and material safety data sheets for each line item. The Milan fire brigade reserves the right to reject any item that does not meet the specified standards.

4. Payment: Payment shall be made via bank transfer (IBAN: IT60 X054 2811 1000 0000 001234) within sixty (60) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice and confirmed delivery. Late payment shall incur interest at the rate prescribed by Italian law (D.Lgs. 231/2002).

5. Warranty: The vendor guarantees all firefighter equipment for a minimum of five (5) years from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects. SCBA cylinders shall carry a ten (10) year hydrostatic test warranty. The vendor shall provide free replacement of any defective component within thirty (30) days of written notice from the Milan fire brigade.

6. Training & Support: As part of this Purchase Order, the vendor shall provide on-site training for up to forty (40) Milan firefighters on the proper use, maintenance, and inspection of all supplied equipment. Training sessions shall be conducted at the Milan fire training facility and shall be delivered in Italian by certified instructors.

7. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Italian Republic. Any disputes arising from this order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, Italy.

8. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government-mandated closures affecting the Milan metropolitan area.
