This Purchase Order is issued by Wellington Fire and Emergency Services to procure specialised Firefighter operational equipment, protective gear, and associated technical services required for the New Zealand Wellington metropolitan fire response network. All physical equipment items listed in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Wellington Fire and Emergency Services Central Depot located at 111 Featherston Street, Wellington 6011, New Zealand. Delivery must be completed no later than 01 August 2025. The supplier is responsible for all freight, insurance, and handling costs within the New Zealand Wellington metropolitan area. The Firefighter equipment must be delivered in original manufacturer packaging with all certification documents, user manuals, and warranty cards included. The supplier shall coordinate delivery scheduling with the Wellington Fire and Emergency Services Logistics Officer to ensure minimal disruption to active Firefighter shift operations across the New Zealand Wellington fire district.
Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made in accordance with the following schedule: Fifty percent (50%) of the total Purchase Order value shall be due upon confirmed delivery and acceptance of all Firefighter equipment at the New Zealand Wellington depot. The remaining fifty percent (50%) shall be due within thirty (30) calendar days following the successful completion of the Firefighter training programme and the PPE inspection service. All payments shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the supplier's nominated New Zealand bank account. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (NZ-WLG-FF-2025-04871) and include the supplier's IRD number for GST compliance under New Zealand tax law.
- All Firefighter equipment supplied under this Purchase Order must carry a minimum manufacturer warranty of five (5) years from the date of delivery in New Zealand Wellington.
- The supplier warrants that all Firefighter gear and apparatus complies with the Fire Service Equipment Regulations 2019 and relevant NZS/AS/NZS standards applicable to Firefighter protective equipment in New Zealand.
- Any non-conforming Firefighter equipment identified during the acceptance inspection at the New Zealand Wellington depot shall be replaced or repaired at the supplier's sole cost within fourteen (14) business days.
- The supplier shall maintain full product liability insurance with a minimum cover of NZD 10,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order and the warranty period.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order relating to Firefighter equipment supplied for use in New Zealand Wellington shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the District Court of Wellington, New Zealand.
- The supplier shall not subcontract any portion of the Firefighter training programme or PPE inspection service without prior written consent from Wellington Fire and Emergency Services.
- All Firefighter equipment must be stored and transported in accordance with New Zealand hazardous materials handling regulations where applicable.
This Purchase Order is authorised and issued by the undersigned on behalf of Wellington Fire and Emergency Services. The supplier's acceptance of this Purchase Order constitutes full agreement to all terms, conditions, pricing, and delivery obligations set forth herein for the supply of Firefighter equipment and services to New Zealand Wellington.
