This Purchase Order is issued by the Tanzania Dar es Salaam Fire and Rescue Services Directorate to procure essential Firefighter protective equipment, structural firefighting apparatus, and operational supplies. The items specified herein are intended to equip and protect active-duty Firefighter personnel stationed across the Dar es Salaam metropolitan area, including the central fire stations in Kariakoo, Mbezi Beach, Kinondoni, and Ilala districts. This Purchase Order ensures that every Firefighter operating in Tanzania Dar es Salaam is provided with internationally certified protective gear, breathing apparatus, and operational tools in compliance with the Tanzania National Fire Service Standards (TNFSS) 2023 and the International Firefighter Safety Regulations (NFPA 1971/1982).

- Delivery: All items under this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Tanzania Dar es Salaam Fire and Rescue Services Central Depot, Mbezi Beach Road, Dar es Salaam, within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of this Purchase Order. The supplier shall bear all transportation, insurance, and customs clearance costs within Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
- Quality Assurance: Every Firefighter item supplied must carry valid NFPA or equivalent international certification. The Tanzania Dar es Salaam Fire and Rescue Services Directorate reserves the right to inspect and reject any Firefighter equipment that does not meet the specified standards prior to acceptance.
- Warranty: The supplier shall provide a minimum two-year warranty on all Firefighter structural gear and a five-year warranty on SCBA cylinders and hydraulic rescue tools. Warranty service shall be available within Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
- Payment: Payment shall be made in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) within sixty (60) days of confirmed delivery and acceptance of all Firefighter equipment. A 10% retention shall be held until the warranty period commences.
- Compliance: This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. All Firefighter equipment must comply with the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) regulations and the Dar es Salaam City Council Fire Safety Ordinance.
- Training: The supplier shall provide on-site training for at least forty (40) Firefighter personnel in Tanzania Dar es Salaam on the proper use, maintenance, and storage of the SCBA units and thermal imaging cameras at no additional cost.
- Penalties: Late delivery beyond the stipulated period shall attract a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay, up to a maximum of 10%.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in accordance with the Tanzania Arbitration Act.
