This Purchase Order is issued by the Central Geological Survey Authority to formally procure the professional services of a qualified Geologist for the execution of a comprehensive geological mapping and resource assessment project in the Afghanistan Kabul metropolitan region and its surrounding provinces. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the parties and governs all terms, conditions, deliverables, and payment obligations associated with the engagement of the Geologist for the duration of the project. The Geologist shall operate exclusively within the jurisdiction of Afghanistan Kabul and shall comply with all applicable national regulations, mining codes, and environmental protection statutes of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
The Geologist engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties and deliverables in Afghanistan Kabul:

- Commencement: The Geologist shall commence all fieldwork in Afghanistan Kabul no later than 14 calendar days from the date of acceptance of this Purchase Order. Any delay beyond this period shall be subject to a penalty of 1% of the total contract value per day of delay.
- Qualifications: The Geologist assigned to this Purchase Order must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Geology or a related earth science discipline, possess at least ten (10) years of field experience, and be registered with the Afghanistan Geological Society. The Geologist must demonstrate prior experience working in the tectonic and sedimentary formations characteristic of Afghanistan Kabul.
- Payment Schedule: Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made in three (3) installments: 30% upon signed acceptance, 40% upon completion of fieldwork and core sampling in Afghanistan Kabul, and 30% upon delivery and approval of the final geological report. All payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by GeoConsult International Ltd.
- Compliance: The Geologist and all supporting personnel shall strictly adhere to the Mining Law of Afghanistan, the Environmental Protection Act, and all local ordinances applicable to Afghanistan Kabul. The Geologist shall obtain all necessary permits from the Kabul Municipal Authority prior to commencing any excavation or sampling activity.
- Health, Safety & Security: Given the operational environment in Afghanistan Kabul, the Geologist shall comply with all security protocols established by the project. The Geologist shall carry comprehensive medical and evacuation insurance for the full duration of the engagement. The Purchasing Entity shall provide secure transportation within Afghanistan Kabul city limits.
- Intellectual Property: All geological data, maps, core samples, and reports generated under this Purchase Order shall become the exclusive property of the Central Geological Survey Authority. The Geologist shall not publish, distribute, or disclose any findings related to Afghanistan Kabul geological formations without written consent.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Geologist shall deliver all completed work product and raw data pertaining to Afghanistan Kabul to the Purchasing Entity within seven (7) days of the termination effective date.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Afghanistan Kabul in accordance with the rules of the Afghanistan Arbitration Centre.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, or government-imposed restrictions affecting operations in Afghanistan Kabul.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Geologist in Afghanistan Kabul. This document is executed in two (2) original copies, one for each party.
