This Purchase Order is issued by the Abuja Geological Infrastructure Development Agency (AGIDA) to engage a qualified and licensed Geologist for the purpose of conducting comprehensive geological surveys, site assessments, and environmental impact evaluations across designated zones within Nigeria Abuja. The Geologist shall provide all technical expertise, field equipment, laboratory analysis, and final reporting as outlined in the line items below. All services shall be rendered in strict compliance with the Nigerian Geological Survey Agency (NGSA) regulations and the Federal Capital Territory Development Authority (FCTDA) guidelines applicable to Nigeria Abuja.

Terms and Conditions of This Purchase Order
- This Purchase Order is issued in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007 of Nigeria and all applicable regulations governing the engagement of professional consultants, including licensed Geologists, for government projects in Nigeria Abuja.
- The Geologist named in this Purchase Order shall be the sole point of technical contact and shall not subcontract any portion of the geological work without prior written approval from AGIDA procurement management in Nigeria Abuja.
- All geological data, core samples, borehole logs, and survey records generated under this Purchase Order shall become the exclusive property of AGIDA upon full payment. The Geologist shall retain only certified copies for professional portfolio purposes.
- The Geologist shall comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to fieldwork in Nigeria Abuja, including but not limited to the Federal Ministry of Environment guidelines and FCTDA site access permits.
- Payment shall be processed within 30 days of receipt of a valid invoice and corresponding deliverable acceptance certificate. The Geologist shall submit invoices to the AGIDA Finance Department, Plot 15, Area 12, Garki, Nigeria Abuja.
- Any variation in scope, additional boreholes, or extended fieldwork beyond the quantities stated in this Purchase Order shall require a formal Purchase Order amendment signed by both parties before execution.
- The Geologist warrants that all findings, interpretations, and recommendations shall be accurate, unbiased, and in full compliance with the Nigerian Code of Practice for Geotechnical Engineering (Nigerian Code of Practice 2018).
- In the event of default or failure to meet the required completion date of 30 September 2025, AGIDA reserves the right to impose liquidated damages at a rate of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay, up to a maximum of 10%.
- This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Nigeria Abuja in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Cap A18, LFN 2004).
- The Geologist shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of NGN 50,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order and shall provide a certificate of insurance to AGIDA prior to commencing fieldwork in Nigeria Abuja.
